Reliable and Secure Online Backup
Recently I’ve started using OPENRSM CloudBackup to make and maintain an online ‘cloud‘ backups of our family data. I did a Google Search for online backup and found CloudBackup.
I have always backed up our family data to disks, CDs, usb drives, etc. This is a boring and error filled process though. So, I havn’t been as consistant as I should in backing up. Because our backups wern’t offsite we could still lose our data to flood, fire, weather, lightning, or anything else that could destroy our data.
The best thing is all our music, financial, photo and other data is always kept up to date on the online backup so even if there is a robbery, disk crash, or even a tornado everything is safe.

OPENRSM CloudBackup is only 4 bucks a month for automatic backup, disk block incrementals, network drive, the whole thing. It’s a super cheap way to do backups on multiple computers for a single price (unless your like me and have tons of data.. but it’s cheap).
It works amazingly well for online backup.Even on multiple computers (we have MACs and PCs) the installation is easy and it keeps a seperate datastore for every computer we have.
There’s even a bandwidth throttle built in so I can control how much of our broadband connection is used for backups. In just a couple days you can backup everything. And then any new or changed files will automatically be backed up.
